Settled in in Pahrump, Nevada (Photos)

We arrived in Pahrump, NV, on Saturday afternoon and parked in a temporary site until Sunday morning when we moved into site 129 for the month. Last evening we watched with delight Boise State's whipping of TCU in the Fiesta Bowl.

Here a photo of the lake -- in the distance -- at this RV resort (we're across the street from the lake):

It's in the 60's this afternoon and a beautiful, sunny day. We drove out to the Mountain Fall development today to check out the magnificent golf course there. I'll play it later this week. Then to Walmart to grocery shop. In a few days we'll head into Death Valley to visit some of the very small villages in the Valley, to see again the China Date Farm and other Death Valley sites. The landscape in the Valley is breathtaking. There is a wonderful winery within 5 miles of our site and we'll visit that this week for a lunch and wine tasting. Much more to see and do in the area. More photos later. Larry
