World Water Relief ... Needs Your Help!

I have been blessed to know and work with the leadership of World Water Relief for years and am so grateful for their tireless efforts to bring clean water to those who need it most desperately in the Third World. WWR also brings clean water to US emergency situations, such as Katrina. WWR just last week installed water purification units in some of the earthquake devastated areas of Haiti. If you are looking for a way to get IMMEDIATE help to Haitians in need of clean water, prayerfully consider donating money to WWR.

Here is the website: http://worldwaterrelief.org/

Go there is read of their work and check out the leadership team leading WWR.
World Water Relief is an Operating Division of Emergency Response Resources, Inc., a 501c3 charitable corporation. Your tax deductible donation to World Water Relief and any of its Programs will help us provide the gift of life sustaining water to the neediest people in the world. World Water Relief has developed a structured methodology that very efficiently gets the water to those in need, and then ensures continued access for the future. The Programs are not band-aid fixes, but rather long term solutions.

The key to the success achieved by World Water Relief is its strategic relationships and continuous measurement. Strategic relationships extend throughout an entire Program. Initially, we are approached by an in-country organization that has identified a critical need for clean water, such as in Haiti where a well previously dug by another relief organization has become polluted. Because the people of the local community have come to rely on this well for all their water needs, they continue to be susceptible to illness and disease.

The World Water Relief Program Management Team then analyzes the situation, conducts the necessary engineering and commits the resources required to develop the appropriate technical solution. The team then performs a cost analysis to ensure the total Program Cost is less than 1 cent per gallon of water delivered ($0.01/gallon).

With the optimum solution engineered, our Support Partner, First Water Systems, Inc., builds and delivers the purification system that meets the specific needs of the local community. Once delivered, our faith-based, in-country Program Partners take ownership of all systems and receive training on installation and long-term maintenance. All filters and necessary long-term maintenance items are provided by World Water Relief ensuring the clean water will always flow.

My dear friend, Lee Burleson, serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of World Water Relief.
Please take time now to visit the site and make a much needed donation to WWR so more water purification units can be delivered to Haiti soon.

Another dear friend, Tom Flaim, a member of my last pastorate, The Church of the Hills, is the inspiration behind WWR. His photo is not available because prefers to work behind the scenes. Matthew Bullard, a former member of my staff at COH, is now working with WWR as a fund raiser. Here are their email addresses if you wish to encourge them:
